IDEAL LIFE Pod Concept

Hardware concept for a router-like device used in a remote health monitoring system.

The device receives data over bluetooth and then sends the information to the cloud using ethernet or cellular service. The center of the device houses a screen that shows data transfer status and other necessary information.

This is a re-design of an existing device. One of the goals was to give the device a 'premium' feel -- soft touch plastics, matte finish, and glossy accents were used to make the device more visually appealing.

The device needed to be able to interface with numerous devices, both through wired and wireless methods. Rear I/O allows for a variety of expansion options.
